CN 2519 and others at NS Simpson Yard while a Thunderhead Builds Above |
| Description: |
This shot shows the engine and car shops at NS Simpson Yard. The spine car is waiting to go in under the caiopy at the repair shops which uses a backhoe to shuffle things around. The CN unit led train 210 over from FEC Bowden Yard along with five other engines and is trying to make room in the engine shop tracks for a couple of the units. The track to the far right of the car shops curving back around is the Springfield Lead which goes to the port and crosses the CSX main right around the corner. The UP motors are on the Lake track taking on fuel and will probably go out on 282 or 230 later in the evening. |
